XPE foam, namely chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam material. It is a high-molecular foamed material made by mixing polyethylene with various fillers, adding chemical crosslinking agents and foaming agents. Synthetic resin is obtained through addition polymerization reaction based on addition polymerization resin as the basic raw material, and different additives are added according to different needs. XPE foam products are recognized as pollution-free products by advanced countries around the world. During the production process, they do not cause environmental pollution. After use, they are easy to recycle and do not cause serious air pollution when incinerated. It plays an important role in aspects such as weight reduction, safety, aesthetics, comfort, energy conservation and durability of automobiles.
XPE foam mainly has the following unique properties:
① Low density. It can reduce the self-weight of the vehicle and increase the payload.
It has no corrosive effect on components and packaging materials, and can significantly extend the service life of equipment and products.
③ It has a skin on the surface, a closed and independent cell structure, low water absorption rate, low thermal conductivity, and excellent heat insulation effect. It is a commercial material for heat insulation, sound insulation and moisture-proofing.
④ It has strong flexibility, high elasticity, excellent shock absorption and sound insulation effects.
⑤ Weather-resistant, cold-resistant, heat-resistant, moisture-proof and tear-resistant. Flame-retardant foam has a high oxygen index and excellent flame-retardant effect.
⑥ It has excellent secondary processing performance. It can be used to composite sheets of various thicknesses with the base material itself, or it can be combined with other materials to form various composite materials, such as steel plates, aluminum plates and other metal materials. Various composite materials are made by combining non-metallic materials such as artificial leather, plastic film, aluminum-coated film, woven fabric and paper.
